Bradenham’s skilful young reserve side played some excellent football at times and were worthy winners against their more mature and often robust opponents in this Norfolk Junior Cup second round match. On 10 mins Hull came close to opening the score for the hosts when he shot wide when well placed. Just 8 mins later Bradenham took the lead when LUKE GOODGE scored at the end of a well worked move. Play was fairly even for a while until the 35th minute when the visitors equalised .Their centre forward cleverly headed home to convert an accurately placed free kick on the left.
H T 1-1
The second half started in lively fashion but with neither side able to take the initiative until the 55th minute, when ALEX CLEMENTS controlled the ball on the left wing, and carried it for a couple of strides before unleashing an unstoppable shot to put his side back in front. The visitors were certainly not giving up as they mounted a number of threatening moves, but the experienced pair of James Eves and Joe Steele, at the heart of the Bradenham defence, made sure that their chances were limited. Then in the 79th min left back MATTY DENTON hit an excellent left foot shot to put the game out of the visitors’ reach. The hosts will now wait with interest for the 3rd round draw to see who their next opponents will be.
F T 3-1
